Storing the Nation's Grain

We design, engineer and import one of New Zealand’s most comprehensive ranges of farming equipment. While we began life manufacturing steel sheet fabricated silos, we now offer a full suite of storage, feeding and stock handling systems from grain feed trolleys to in-dairy feeding systems and rotary platforms.

Renown for our attention to detail and use of premium materials, our designs meet your need for improved production and stock health. We deliver products that are hard wearing, efficient and accurate. With more than 20 years manufacturing experience, our designs are tested and developed on New Zealand farms in a multitude of systems and environments.

Rakaia Engineering has come a long way from the early days of building steel sheet silos and water ballast rollers.
While these products are still available, the range of products and services has expanded greatly.

We now offer one of New Zealand’s most comprehensive ranges of agricultural products and services. Our product range services both the livestock and arable farming industries as well as commercial grain storage and handling.
