Company Charter
Rakaia Engineering Ltd (REL) is a privately owned company with approximately 50 staff members involved in the sale, production, installation, construction, delivery and maintenance of a comprehensive range of agricultural products and services. REL covers the livestock and arable farming industries as well as commercial grain storage and handling. In addition to this REL holds the NZ franchise for Keenan NZ Ltd which includes the provision of mixer wagons and orbital spreaders.
With more than 30 years manufacturing and engineering experience, REL designs and installations are tested and developed on New Zealand farms in a multitude of systems and environments. While REL’s main headquarters is based in the township of Rakaia in the South Island, staff and dealers are also distributed throughout New Zealand. REL is developing experience and track record in overseas markets such as Australia, China and the UK.
In 2010, the owners (John and Janette Kuyf) appointed a Board of Directors with two external and independent professional Directors. Building on the owners’ values of trust, honesty and integrity, coupled with a “can-do” attitude REL continues to grow and prosper. The following Vision, Mission and Core Values formulated by the Board are the foundation for the future success of REL.
